Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated July 2026

Leadly respects intellectual property and expects users to do the same. Users own what they post and are responsible for having the rights to it. This page explains how to report infringement and what happens next.

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on Leadly infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Notice" and include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) the URL or precise location of the infringing material on Leadly; (3) your name, address, telephone number, and email; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

We review complete notices promptly and remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing. We may forward your notice to the user who posted the material.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA Counter-Notice" including: identification of the removed material and where it appeared, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where Leadly may be found), and your signature. Unless the original claimant files a court action, removed material may be restored in 10–14 business days.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property are terminated. Fraudulent or bad-faith notices may themselves incur liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) — don't misuse this process.
