How to set your location, browse local jobs near you, and apply safely on Leadly — step by step for teens, students, and young adults.
Set your location
Open Find Work and enter your US ZIP code (like 12345) or Canadian postal code (like A1A 1A1) — or use your device location. Leadly sorts jobs by distance from you.
You can change your location any time from the Find Work screen.
Browse and apply
Jobs posted by neighbors show pay in the poster's currency (USD or CAD), the schedule, and safety notes.
Tap a job to see details, then Apply with a short message. Before sending, you'll confirm the safety acknowledgment — if you're under 18, tell a parent or guardian about the job first.
Chat in the app
All messaging stays inside Leadly. You never need to share your phone number or email to apply, and we warn you if a message looks like a scam or tries to move the conversation off-platform.
